We recognize and understand some of the challenges and feelings of isolation that can come with remote work, so we've dialed in on what makes working remotely successful for our valued employees.   What you’ll do: Review hospital medical records for both medical and surgical Observation patients and properly assign relevant ICD-10-CM diagnoses according to Official Coding Guidelines in addition to CPT surgical codes as appropriate. Surgical specialties include but are not limited to: Orthopedic, Spinal, General Surgery, Urology, Plastics, GYN.  Extensive knowledge of disease pathology is required for this position.    Meet or exceed high quality and productivity standards, to provide exceptional coding services to our clients Communicate and collaborate with outpatient coders and managers to address the dynamic needs of our clients Keep active coding certifications and complete continuing education to maintain expertise   What you’ll need: Current CCS, RHIA, RHIT through AHIMA or CPC through AAPC coding credentials are required 3 or more years of relevant facility coding experience Access to reliable high-speed internet and workstation.
