We recognize and understand some of the challenges and feelings of isolation that can come with remote work, so we've dialed in on what makes working remotely successful for our valued employees.   What you’ll do: Review hospital medical records for Ambulatory Surgery patients and assign relevant diagnoses and procedure codes as required, according to ICD-10-CM and CPT Official Coding Guidelines. Extensive knowledge of disease pathology as well as interpretation/understanding of detailed procedure note documentation is required for this position.  Surgical specialties include Integumentary (grafts, lesion excision, debridement, plastics, breast procedures), Orthopedic (podiatry, fractures, joint replacements, scopes), Neurosurgery (spinal, nerves), General Surgery, Urology/Nephrology, OB/GYN, ENT, Mental Health, Pulmonary, and Cardiovascular (pacemakers, PCI, AV fistulas, CV access devices).    Meet or exceed high quality and productivity standards, to provide exceptional coding services to our clients Communicate and collaborate with outpatient coders and managers to address the dynamic needs of our clients Keep active coding certifications and complete continuing education to maintain expertise   What you’ll need: Current CCS, RHIA, RHIT through AHIMA or CPC through AAPC coding credentials are required 3 or more years of relevant facility coding experience Access to reliable high-speed internet and workstation.
