This opportunity might suit you if you:

  • Have experience reviewing, editing, publishing or creating digital educational content

  • Have strong attention to detail and can ensure scientific accuracy and consistent content quality
  • Enjoy developing your own educational resources and assessments
  • Have excellent time-management skills and can work independently
  • Are tech-savvy and enjoy working with technology

Project details

The project will commence in late November and continue until the end of December 2026. We anticipate approximately 10-14 hours of work per week, with flexibility to accommodate your schedule. The engagement will be contract based, with payment based on completed question sets.

The work will involve:

  • Question and answer quality review: Peer-check and review curriculum-aligned science questions and answers to ensure they meet our quality standards
  • Scientific accuracy and feedback: Check scientific accuracy, identify issues and apply feedback as required to improve content quality
  • Question design support: Provide input on question design and assessment elements to ensure questions effectively assess student understanding
  • Student review: Review a lesson from a student's perspective to assess the learning experience and ensure it meets our quality standards

Payment and deliverables

  • $100 CAD onboarding payment
  • $100 CAD per completed question set
  • 26 question sets in total

We anticipate approximately 2 hours per question set, with an expected workload of 5-7 question sets per week (around 10-14 hours). The total payment for completing all 26 question sets, including onboarding, will be $2,700 CAD.

If you’re passionate about Science education and would love to help shape high-quality digital learning experiences for Ontario teachers and students, we’d love to hear from you!
