AI Summary

Manage end-to-end implementation projects, including planning, resource allocation, and risk assessment while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Provide hands-on training, configure product builds, and troubleshoot technical challenges to ensure successful customer onboarding.

At Surgimate, we are on a mission to change how surgical practices manage the most important part of their business – surgery. Driven by a passionate and dedicated team, we are an enterprise SaaS company in the digital health space providing a suite of efficient tools for scheduling and coordinating logistics for surgeries.

As Onboarding Project Manager, you are responsible for managing the project cycle and delivering solutions that change the healthcare landscape. You're hands-on and customer-facing at your core — comfortable training users directly, configuring builds, and troubleshooting in real time — and you pick up new workflows quickly, including the day-to-day rhythms of a surgical practice. You are passionate about managing technological projects, a strong communicator, and have great organizational and interpersonal skills. The Project Manager must be collaborative with a penchant for problem-solving in a complex environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end implementation projects, including project planning, resource allocation, timeline management, and risk assessment.

  • Collaborate with clients to gather project requirements and define clear project objectives and deliverables.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring that project milestones are met on schedule.

  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success and successful onboarding.

  • Conduct regular project status meetings, providing timely updates on project progress, risks, and issues.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving any obstacles that may impact the project timeline or deliverables.

  • Get hands-on with customers, providing direct training and support throughout the implementation process to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.

  • Coordinate technical resources to ensure seamless connectivity between Surgimate and other systems customers are using.

  • Collaborate with the R&D, Customer Support, and Implementations teams to resolve technical challenges and enhance interoperability.

  • Work hands-on to configure Surgimate product builds during the implementation phase.

  • Collaborate with the development team to address customization needs and ensure client satisfaction.

  • Continuously assess and improve the implementation process by identifying areas for optimization and implementing best practices.

  • Roll up your sleeves to help customers refine requirements and configure internal controls, settings, and quality checks.

  • Capture details of meetings/events and communicate subsequent notes and action items to relevant parties.

  • Lead live customer training sessions, in person or virtually, as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned by management.

  • Project management or SaaS implementation experience a plus, but not required

  • Familiarity with surgical scheduling and surgical practice workflows strongly preferred

  • Experience working closely with clients.

  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves — training end users, configuring product builds, and troubleshooting hands-on throughout implementation.

  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.

  • Ability to work independently across multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • A keen eye for detail and a high level of organizational capability.

  • Ability to rapidly grasp and apply complex business and technical concepts.

  • Passion for providing the highest quality service to customers.
