AI Summary

Manage the end-to-end onboarding and credentialing process for nurses, ensuring all documentation and clinical requirements are met before their first shift. Maintain audit-ready personnel files and conduct periodic check-ins to ensure employee retention.

Home Heart Florida · Remote, Philippines · Full-time · US Eastern hours

We are a pediatric home health company in Florida. Our nurses look after medically complex children in their own homes, often overnight, often for years. Hiring a nurse well and getting them working quickly is the difference between a family sleeping through the night and a family not sleeping at all.

The problem you are here to fix

Too many of the nurses who accept our offers never make it to their first shift. They sign, and then they fall into a gap. Paperwork sits unfinished. A certification quietly expires. A skills check-off never gets booked. Weeks pass, nobody chases, and by the time we notice, the nurse has taken a job somewhere else.

That gap is the job. From the moment a nurse is sent an offer to the moment they are cleared to start, you own them. Nobody else picks it up. Nobody else drops it.

What you will actually do

  • Chase signed offers. An offer that has been sitting unsigned for eleven days is your problem, and you will not let it sit for twelve.
  • Collect and verify credentials. Licences, CPR cards, TB tests, background checks, immunisations. You will know what is missing before anyone asks you.
  • Book the clinical skills check-off with the right nurse leader, and keep rebooking it until it happens.
  • Keep personnel files audit-ready. A regulator can walk in and ask for any file on any day. Yours are ready.
  • Check in at 30 and 90 days, because that is the window where good people quietly leave.

What this job is not

You will not assess anyone's clinical skill. A licensed nurse does that. You schedule it, shepherd it and record it. You are not expected to arrive knowing US home health, Medicaid or credentialing rules. We will teach you all of it.

Who does well here

This role needs two personalities that usually do not live in the same person.

The first is a chaser. Comfortable being the person who follows up for the fourth time, politely, without being asked, and without taking silence personally.

The second is a detective. The kind of person who notices that a date on page four contradicts a date on page one, and cares enough to find out which is right.

If you are only one of those two, this will be a frustrating job. If you are both, you will be unusually good at it.

What we care about in your background

We care far more about how organised you are than about which industry you came from. Strong candidates often come from HR, recruitment coordination, onboarding, staffing or healthcare back-office work. If you have recruited, onboarded or credentialed nurses or caregivers for a US employer, say so clearly, because that is the closest thing to this job that exists.

Required: excellent written English, a reliable internet connection, and the ability to work United States Eastern hours.

The details

  • Full-time, remote, based in the Philippines
  • United States Eastern time zone hours
  • $1,200 USD per month
  • Engaged as an independent contractor
  • Reports to our HR Director

To be straightforward with you, so nobody wastes their time: this is a flat monthly rate. We do not offer HMO, 13th-month pay or a referral bonus. What we do offer is direct work for the company itself rather than through an agency, a role nobody else at the company currently owns, and a manager who will teach you a US healthcare speciality you cannot learn anywhere else in this market.

How to apply

Read this part carefully. We use it to see who follows instructions, because the job is made of following instructions.

  1. Include the word COMPASS in your application.
  2. Attach your CV.
  3. In your cover letter, answer one question in no more than 200 words: you are responsible for 50 nurses who each owe you a different set of documents, with different deadlines. How would you track them, and how would you know on any given morning who to chase first?
  4. Tell us the hours you can reliably work in US Eastern time.

Applications that skip any of these four steps will not be reviewed.
