Imagine360 is seeking a New Business Specialist to join the team! The New Business Specialist serves as a critical partner in the implementation and onboarding of new clients, ensuring eligibility data is accurately configured, validated, and transitioned into production. This role acts as the central coordinator for new business eligibility processing, working closely with clients, brokers, implementation teams, IT, and internal operations departments to deliver a seamless onboarding experience. The specialist is responsible for receiving, formatting, auditing, and validating eligibility files, identifying discrepancies, coordinating issue resolution, and ensuring all implementation milestones are completed accurately and on schedule.
Position Location: 100% remote
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Client Implementation & Onboarding Support
- Serves as a primary eligibility resource during the implementation of new client groups.
- Provides guidance and support to clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders throughout the onboarding process.
- Partners with implementation teams to address eligibility-related concerns, data issues, and client questions.
- Supports smooth transitions from implementation through operational handoff.
Eligibility File Processing & Quality Assurance
- Receives, formats, and processes initial eligibility files for new client groups.
- Conducts comprehensive eligibility audits following initial data loads to verify data accuracy and completeness.
- Identifies enrollment discrepancies, data mismatches, and eligibility concerns.
- Coordinates with clients and brokers to obtain corrections and resolve outstanding issues before release to production.
- Maintains ownership of new groups until eligibility setup is complete and responsibility is transferred to ongoing administration teams.
Project Coordination & Workflow Management
- Updates and manages implementation-related tasks through Manage Engine and other workflow systems.
- Ensures implementation work items are completed accurately and within service expectations.
- Coordinates handoffs between Implementation, IT, Eligibility, COBRA, and other operational teams.
- Monitors progress of onboarding activities to ensure readiness for production release.
Plan Setup & COBRA Administration Support
- Interprets client setup requirements and plan specifications.
- Maps benefit plans and eligibility structures accurately within system configurations.
- Facilitates COBRA setup, transitions, and takeovers for new client implementations.
- Assists with ensuring plan and eligibility configurations align with client requirements.
Data Analysis & Compliance
- Works with large volumes of eligibility and enrollment data, validating transactions and identifying anomalies.
- Ensures all data processing activities meet quality standards and organizational requirements.
- Maintains compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations when handling member information.
- Supports continuous quality improvement through audits and process reviews.
Required Experience/Education:
- 2 years of operations, back or front office and/or customer service experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Health Care Administration background a plus!
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Comfortability presenting to clients, brokers and internal teams surrounding areas of expertise.
- Strong PC skills, prior experience with MS Office required.
- Advanced MS Office experience specific to Excel and Lists.
- Moderate MS Office experience specific to Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and CoPilot.
- Ability to interpret and manipulate large amounts of data, making sense of transactions.
- Ability to manage time, ensuring all requirements are met by company standards.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortability in communicating at various levels with internal and external stakeholders.
- Team player able to collaborate with other departments.
