NetSuite Developer

Work Arrangement / Work Shift: Fully Remote / EST

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled NetSuite Developer to design, develop, and maintain custom solutions within the NetSuite ERP platform. In this role, you will collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical realities, ensuring seamless integrations and optimal platform performance. You will be responsible for troubleshooting system defects, enhancing features, and maintaining high-quality code standards to support ongoing system optimization.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Develop and maintain custom SuiteScript (1.0 and 2.x) solutions, including User Event, Client, Scheduled, and Map-Reduce scripts.

• Build, test, and support robust API integrations (REST/SOAP) between NetSuite and external third-party systems or middleware.

• Design and configure custom NetSuite records, workflows, forms, fields, and approval paths to mirror unique business processes.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve platform defects or performance bottlenecks across sandbox and production environments.

• Partner closely with internal stakeholders and functional teams to convert business needs into technical specifications.

• Support data migration, integration testing, system deployment, and ongoing optimization initiatives.

What You’ll Need:

• Proven experience working as a NetSuite Developer or ERP Developer.

• Strong technical proficiency in JavaScript and SuiteScript (both 1.0 and 2.x generations).

• Hands-on experience building custom NetSuite workflows, saved searches, and complex data structures.

• Solid understanding of the NetSuite platform’s native capabilities, architectural limitations, and governance limits.

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain REST/SOAP API web service integrations.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

What Will Set You Apart:

• Active NetSuite certifications, such as NetSuite Certified SuiteCloud Developer or SuiteFoundation.

• Prior experience managing integrations using middleware platforms like Celigo.

• Exposure to SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA) or popular eCommerce integrations like Shopify.

• Experience navigating and configuring multi-currency, multi-subsidiary NetSuite OneWorld environments.

• Previous experience working within a technical consulting or offshore staffing model.
