The National Service Manager will lead and grow the service organization by managing technicians, overseeing service-project bidding, and ensuring efficient execution of repairs and maintenance. They are responsible for establishing repeatable service processes, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
The National Service Manager will lead and grow F6 Data Solutions’ service operation, overseeing people, service-project bidding, and execution across a national customer base. The role manages warranty repairs, billable repairs, preventive maintenance, emergency service, and service agreements, with responsibility for coordinating work from initial request through completion and billing readiness.
Starting with a small team, the manager will help build a service organization of approximately 12 technicians as business needs grow. The Director of Service will provide onboarding, guidance, and escalation support, with the expectation that the manager will quickly establish independent ownership of day-to-day service operations. The Project Operations team will provide administrative support.
Lead and develop the service team: Recruit, onboard, coach, and manage service technicians. Establish clear expectations, conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and build a collaborative culture grounded in safety, accountability, respect, and dependable customer service.
Own service intake and execution: Assess incoming requests, establish scope and priorities, assign resources, and coordinate schedules, parts, equipment, and site access. Maintain visibility into open work and communicate progress, risks, and completion expectations to customers and internal stakeholders.
Estimate and bid service projects: Prepare and review scopes, labor estimates, material and equipment costs, travel requirements, subcontractor quotes, exclusions, and proposals. Approve service quotes, pricing, and subcontractor commitments in accordance with company policies and authorization procedures.
Coordinate contractors and operating companies: Identify and evaluate qualified third-party providers, installing contractors, and Meriton operating companies. Select appropriate execution partners, coordinate vendor onboarding with administrative support, and monitor work quality, safety, schedule, and completion documentation.
Manage changes and corrective work: Clarify warranty, contractor, and customer responsibilities with the appropriate parties. Document additional scope, secure required customer authorization, and maintain ROMP and other applicable records so diagnosis, repairs, and retesting are tracked and billed according to project requirements.
Coordinate safe technical execution: Work with OEMs, technical specialists, site personnel, and contractors to confirm repair plans, site requirements, and equipment readiness. Escalate technical risks and ensure service work follows approved procedures and customer operating requirements.
Support financial tracking and billing: Monitor estimated versus actual labor, materials, travel, and subcontractor costs. Maintain accurate forecasts and work records, flag cost changes early, and provide Project Operations and Billing with timely documentation for invoicing and closeout.
Build repeatable service processes: Establish workflows for intake, quoting, scheduling, escalation, reporting, and closeout. Coordinate handoffs from startup teams, improve visibility into the service backlog, and develop staffing and contractor plans as service demand grows.
Manage relationships and service opportunities: Serve as a primary contact for service execution and escalations. Partner with sales, OEM representatives, and Meriton operating companies to develop service opportunities and service agreements that F6 can deliver reliably.
The manager reports directly to the Director of Service and works closely with Project Operations, Billing, sales, field leadership, technical specialists, OEMs, and service partners. Administrative support will be provided by the team led by the Manager, Project Operations.
Initial success will be measured by service-request responsiveness, quote accuracy and turnaround, reliable execution, customer communication, team development, and complete billing documentation. The role will support cost visibility and responsible pricing; formal departmental profitability targets are not assigned initially and may be introduced as the service organization matures.
This is a remote role with up to 15% travel for site visits, customer or contractor meetings, team development, and other business needs. The manager coordinates urgent service responses and escalations with the appropriate field and support resources.
Employment practices will not be influenced or affected by an applicant’s or employee’s race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status or any other legally protected status. Reasonable accommodations will be made for qualified individuals with disabilities unless doing so would result in an undue hardship.
Salary ranges listed are dependent upon a candidate’s qualifications, experience, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the specific role and location.
