Slip Robotics is at the forefront of robotic automation, delivering cutting-edge solutions that transform how businesses move goods. Our autonomous platforms redefine efficiency, reliability, and scalability in logistics. We’re a fast-growing team of innovators passionate about helping customers adopt automation seamlessly and successfully.

The National Account Manager (NAM) owns the commercial success and long-term growth of a portfolio of assigned customer accounts. Slip Robotics operates on a land-and-expand strategy: we win an initial footprint within an account, and it's the NAM's job to grow it — through proactive prospecting for new opportunities, renewal management, and in-account expansion. This role is as much about finding what's next in an account as it is about protecting what's already there.
The NAM serves as the primary customer advocate and strategic advisor throughout the contract lifecycle — from initial deployment and onboarding through ongoing optimization, renewal, and expansion. This role requires balancing customer satisfaction with commercial performance, driving retention, uncovering new opportunities within the account, and delivering measurable operational value for customers.
Working cross-functionally with Service Delivery, Product, and Engineering, the NAM ensures deployments succeed operationally while continuously prospecting for ways to deepen customer engagement and expand Slip Robotics' footprint within the account.

Responsibilities

  • Own the commercial relationship and overall success of assigned customer accounts.
  • Proactively prospect for new opportunities within assigned accounts — additional business units, sites, departments, or facilities not yet served by Slip Robotics — in support of the company's land-and-expand strategy.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for account expansion through upsell, cross-sell, and additional deployments, building account plans targeting sustained Book of Business (BOB/ARR) growth.
  • Own renewal strategy for your book of business, beginning outreach and planning a minimum of 6 months ahead of contract expiration to get ahead of risk and secure multi-year commitments.
  • Lead customer engagements across the contract lifecycle, including deployment coordination, onboarding, training, and ongoing account management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for customers, providing guidance on best practices and operational optimization using Slip Robotics' solutions.
  • Monitor account health and performance KPIs, proactively addressing risks and identifying improvement opportunities before they threaten renewal or growth.
  • Partner with Service Delivery, Product, and Engineering to ensure successful project delivery, including resource coordination, timeline management, and issue escalation when necessary.
  • Analyze customer workflows and operational performance to recommend improvements that increase customer value, strengthen the partnership, and surface new expansion opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships across customer organizations, from operational teams to executive stakeholders, to support both retention and prospecting efforts.
  • Manage account activity in HubSpot, including regular customer meetings, pipeline data, expansion opportunities, renewal timing, and documentation of key interactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience strongly considered.
  • Experience managing multiple customer accounts in industrial, logistics, or technology environments, with a track record of growing accounts over time rather than simply maintaining them.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect and generate net-new opportunities within an existing account base — comfortable initiating conversations beyond your current point of contact.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse, manufacturing, dock operations, or shipping logistics.
  • Experience supporting or deploying robotics, automation, or engineering solutions in customer environments.
  • Strong project management capabilities and ability to coordinate complex technical initiatives across cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and operational audiences, as well as executive stakeholders.
  • CRM discipline — HubSpot experience preferred — and comfort keeping pipeline, account, and renewal data current.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Benefits

  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
  • Stock Option Plan
