Job Purpose:
The Multi Month Customer Service Phone Agent serves as the primary point of contact for customers, handling inbound calls and related communications to resolve customer inquiries and account issues. This role researches and troubleshoots concerns, coordinates with customers and internal teams via phone and email, documents interactions, and ensures timely resolution while delivering a positive customer experience and adhering to company policies and procedures.
This position starts at $17.50.
What You’ll Do:
- Handle inbound customer calls in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
- Identify customer needs through active listening and effective questioning.
- Research and resolve customer concerns related to accounts, billing, reservations, contracts, payments, and service issues.
- Provide accurate information regarding products, services, policies, and procedures.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate department or leadership team.
- Document customer interactions, actions taken, and resolutions in company systems.
- Maintain service levels, productivity standards, and quality expectations.
- Follow established call-handling procedures and customer service guidelines.
- Demonstrate empathy and professionalism while managing challenging customer situations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely resolution of customer concerns.
- Protect customer and company information by maintaining confidentiality and complying with data privacy requirements.
- Meet or exceed individual and team performance metrics.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service, call center, or related experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer management systems.
- Ability to multitask while navigating multiple systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
