About the Role

We are looking for a new team member who is a consultant first. Being able to work with non-technical clients and design integration solutions that support their business needs is an absolute must. Understanding of MuleSoft Architecture, while important, is less important than your ability to understand a client’s business needs, make them feel confident in the solutions you present, work within the scope of the contract they’ve signed, and design an integration path that fits within those limitations.

As a Mulesoft Consultant, you will be responsible for designing Mulesoft systems to integrate diverse systems and applications, streamline business processes, and enhance overall system efficiency.

What You’ll Do

• Design and even develop MuleSoft applications to meet business requirements.
• Design APIs, connectors, and flows to integrate various systems and applications.
• Develop requirements to enable teams to  transform and map data between different systems.
• Design error handling, logging, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure application reliability.
• Design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs using API Manager.
• Manage API lifecycle, including creation, versioning, and retirement.
• Implement API security measures to protect sensitive data.
• Develop integration solutions using various protocols like SOAP, REST, and JMS.
• Integrate cloud-based and on-premises systems.
• Design properly optimized integration flows for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.
• Monitor system performance and identify potential bottlenecks.

• Collaborate with developers and client business users to understand requirements and design solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, including Anypoint Code Builder, Anypoint Studio, API Manager, and Runtime Manager
• Proficiency in MuleSoft development concepts, including flows, connectors, transformers, and error handling
• Experience with API design, development, and testing
• Knowledge of data integration and transformation techniques
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles
• Experience with data formats like JSON and XML
• Familiarity with database concepts and SQL
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Certification in Mulesoft (preferred)
• Experience with MuleSoft Omni Platform and/or Agent Fabric (preferred)
