Mortgage Servicing Supervisor

Job Details: Job Location: 111 EAST BROADWAY - COLUMBIA, MO, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $28.90 - $43.35Hourly, Job Category: Real Estate, Role: Responsible for helping to oversee the day-to-day operation of the mortgage servicing staff, assisting the VP of Mortgage Servicing with management of staff, completion of high level servicing tasks and development of processes and procedures. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Directly manage mortgage servicing staff, including oversight of day-to-day functions, initial training and continuing education of said staff, and delegation of duties as needed to ensure efficient functioning of the department. Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual servicing functions such as insurance notification, PMI notifications, taxes, escrow analysis and 1098 processing. First point of escalation for member and/or staff concerns or inquiries. Work side by side with staff and supervisors to identify issues, troubleshoot and provide solutions for both one-off problems as well as systemic. Assist with interviews of prospective employee and provide input for hiring decisions. Manage data quality. Performs other related duties as assigned. Performance Measurements: 1.    Smooth operation of Mortgage Servicing Department with minimal investor or member complaints.Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills: Experience:    Three years to five years of similar or related experience. Education:    (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program. Interpersonal Skills:    Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication. Other Skills:    Must have good communication skills. Ten key calculator, typewriter and keyboard skills. Physical Requirements:     Work Environment:    Position is eligible to work remotely during business hours per approval from supervisor.
