Monday.com Developer / AI Automation Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Monday.com Developer & AI Automation Specialist to help design, develop, and implement a customized business management system for a growing construction company.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Monday.com, workflow automation, AI integrations, and business process optimization.

This position will initially focus on building and configuring a tailored software solution using Monday.com and AI-powered tools, with the possibility of ongoing support and system improvements after implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and customize Monday.com boards, dashboards, workflows, and automations based on business requirements.
  

• Develop an integrated business management system using Monday.com as the primary platform.
  

• Implement AI-powered features and integrations to streamline administrative and operational processes.
  

• Connect Monday.com with external applications and services using APIs, webhooks, and integration platforms.
  

• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  

• Configure automated notifications, task assignments, status updates, and reporting workflows.
  

• Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize existing workflows, and ensure reliable system performance.
  

• Collaborate with management to understand business needs and translate them into functional solutions.
  

• Test and document completed workflows, integrations, and automations.
  

• Provide training and technical guidance to employees using the system.
  

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing and customizing solutions within Monday.com.
  

• Strong understanding of Monday.com boards, dashboards, automations, and integrations.
  

• Experience with AI tools and integrating AI-powered functionality into business workflows.
  

• Proficiency with automation platforms such as Make, Zapier, or similar tools.
  

• Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and third-party software integrations.
  

• Ability to design and implement workflows independently.
  

• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  

• Excellent English communication skills.
  

• Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing Monday.com systems from the ground up.
  

• Knowledge of Monday.com API and advanced customization capabilities.
  

• Experience with AI APIs, including OpenAI or similar services.
  

• Familiarity with JavaScript, Python, or other scripting languages.
  

• Experience developing systems for construction, project management, or service-based businesses.
  

• Experience integrating CRM, project tracking, scheduling, or reporting systems.
  

• Ability to recommend scalable solutions as business needs evolve.
  

Schedule & Engagement

This is a remote, part-time position requiring a minimum of 20 hours per week.

The initial engagement will be project-based, focused on developing and implementing the company's customized Monday.com and AI solution.

The opportunity may extend into an ongoing role depending on project requirements, system maintenance needs, and future development opportunities.
