The role:

We are looking for a Modern Workplace Architect with strong Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace expertise to support, maintain, and continuously improve our clients’ digital workplace environments. 

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and optimizing Microsoft 365 solutions, ensuring secure and efficient collaboration across organizations. You will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver modern workplace technologies that enhance productivity, security, and user experience.

Your activities will include:    

• Support and administer Microsoft 365 services including Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and Azure Active Directory. 
• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of modern workplace solutions aligned with customer business requirements. 
• Configure and manage user accounts, permissions, licensing, and identity services within Microsoft 365 and Azure AD. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to collaboration platforms, productivity tools, device management, and cloud services. 
• Support the onboarding and offboarding process, including account provisioning, access management, and device setup. 
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of Microsoft Intune, Conditional Access policies, and endpoint management solutions. 
• Monitor the health, performance, and security of Microsoft 365 environments and proactively address issues. 
• Support the deployment, configuration, and adoption of Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. 
• Ensure compliance with security standards, data protection requirements, and organizational policies. 
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, system configurations, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles. 
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to deliver effective solutions and continuous service improvements. 
• Run workshops, and lead knowledge transfer so clients can sustain what we build. 
• Participate in incident management, problem resolution, and service request fulfilment while meeting agreed service levels. 
• Contribute to the ongoing development of modern workplace best practices, governance, and user adoption initiatives.
• Mentor and serve as an escalation point for junior engineers. Act as a technical lead on topics related to M365. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience  
• Strategy & Architecture: 
• Develop and maintain the modern workplace roadmap, aligning with business goals. 
• Design scalable and secure solutions using Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), Azure AD, and related technologies. 
• Manage and optimize usage of licenses across the business to ensure the most appropriate licences are deployed to customers and internally. 
• Collaboration & Productivity: 
• Optimize Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive to improve collaboration. 
• Implement solutions like Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to automate workflows and drive efficiency. 
• Integrate third-party applications and custom workflows to enhance user productivity. 
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve the modern workplace experience. 
• Security & Compliance: 
• Design and enforce security policies using Microsoft Defender, Intune, and Azure AD Conditional Access. 
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.). 
• Support & Troubleshooting: 
• Provide support for customer's modern workplace solutions. 
• Monitor system performance and proactively address issues. 
• Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding processes, including setup and configuration of accounts and hardware.
