Minnesota Real Estate Primary Broker

Compensation: $250–$500 per hour, based on experience
Estimated time: 2–6 hours per month, based on client needs
Type: Part-time, independent contractor, work from home

About the role:

Broker Solutions is seeking a licensed Minnesota real estate broker to serve as Primary Broker for a growing real estate technology company that is launching a nationwide brokerage. The company runs an online platform that matches renters with available apartments. Its role ends at the match. It takes no part in the rest of the transaction. Our corporate team handles client support and administration, so you can focus on oversight.

What this role does NOT involve:

• No agents to recruit, manage, or supervise
• No trust accounts or escrow funds
• No lease agreements to sign or review, new or renewal
• No sales quotas or production requirements

Responsibilities:

• Serve as Primary Broker for the brokerage’s Minnesota license
• Ensure brokerage licensing, advertising, and records meet Minnesota Department of Commerce requirements
• Be available for occasional compliance questions, required signatures, and regulatory communications
• Keep your Minnesota broker license active, including continuing education

Qualifications:

• Minnesota real estate broker license, either active or eligible for reactivation before your start date
• Clean disciplinary record
• Not currently serving as Primary Broker for another firm, since Minnesota allows a broker to serve only one firm at a time
• Responsive and dependable
