The Staff Accountant role provides an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced mentors within the organization while joining a company that is growing and evolving. This individual will be responsible for multiple accounting systems and will work directly with IT, Corporate MIS, and other stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate will be flexible, detail-oriented, and highly committed to quality, customer service, teamwork, and supporting firm and department goals in a fast-paced environment. This position requires strong communication, technology, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with the attention to detail necessary to ensure accurate financial reporting.

  • Collaborate with Payroll, Accounts Payable, Billing, and other departments to identify, resolve, and reduce accounting issues.
  • Act as a system administrator for the ERP system, Workday, as well as ancillary accounting systems such as BlackLine and Visual Lease.
  • Collaborate with IT and third-party consultants to create and troubleshoot integrations between accounting systems.
  • Periodically review access to accounting systems and document reviews in accordance with internal controls.
  • Prepare audit schedules in collaboration with the General Ledger team to support a clean and timely year-end audit for U.S. and foreign entities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing accounting processes and increase efficiencies.
  • Adapt to new tasks and responsibilities as the business grows and changes.
  • Contribute to the organization in a professional manner and maintain a positive, collaborative attitude.
