The Opportunity

Betterworks is seeking a high-performing Mid-Market Account Executive to join our remote sales team, based on the West Coast.

Betterworks Mid-market Account Executives are responsible for engaging with Human Resources teams, as well as IT/Internal Systems, and C-level leadership at some of the most sophisticated companies in the world to introduce Betterworks and our modern Performance and Talent Intelligence software suite.

Our ideal candidate will bring an ownership mindset to developing, managing, and closing businesses within their territory. You will serve as a trusted advisor to help mid-market enterprises transform their performance and talent management processes, allowing them to succeed in today’s competitive market.

What You'll Do 

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close for new logo opportunities within the Mid-Market segment (500-2,500 employees).

  • Cultivate multi-threaded relationships with mid-market prospects, spanning various organizational levels from Managers to the C-Suite, and across departments, including Human Resources, IT, Finance, and Information Security.

  • Generate pipeline through a combination of outbound prospecting, and partnering with business development, and marketing.

  • Be the ‘Quarterback’ of your team, working collaboratively with an assigned SDR, Solutions engineers, and sales leadership to ensure Betterworks’ prospects receive a World-class buying experience.

  • Lead discovery conversations that uncover key business challenges

  • Help prospects connect HR Performance & Talent initiatives to measurable business outcomes

  • Build compelling business cases and executive-level value propositions.

  • Partner closely with SDRs, Solutions Engineers, Customer Success, and Professional Services to deliver a world-class buying experience.

  • Become an expert in Betterworks' platform, AI capabilities, competitive landscape, and business outcome-based sales methodology.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and account planning discipline.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of successful SaaS sales experience selling complex business applications.

  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota and driving new logo acquisition.

  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving executive buyers.

  • Strong discovery, business acumen, and consultative selling skills.

  • Ability to connect operational, talent, and strategic challenges to measurable business outcomes.

  • Experience selling HR Tech and or to HR buyers is preferred, but not required.

  • Experience selling to executive stakeholders is highly valued.

  • Strong prospecting and pipeline generation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, learn quickly, and adapt in a fast-growing environment.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and executive presence.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
