Medical Virtual Assistant – Primary Care & Wellness (Remote)
Employment: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST (1-hour unpaid lunch)
Preferred Location: Philippines
Pay: $5.00–$6.00 per hour
Description
Join a growing Florida-based Primary Care, Women's Health, Wellness & Aesthetics, and HRT practice as a Medical Virtual Assistant. You'll play a key role in delivering an excellent patient experience by providing outstanding phone support and administrative assistance.
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls, return missed calls, and assist new patient inquiries.
- Schedule, confirm, and follow up on appointments.
- Educate patients about services and next steps.
- Manage medical records and support referrals.
- Send invoice reminders and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Assist with insurance eligibility verification and prior authorizations when needed.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- High patient conversion from inquiries
- Prompt handling of inbound calls with no missed calls
- Excellent patient satisfaction
- Strong follow-through on assigned tasks

Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience supporting US-based healthcare clients as a Medical Virtual Assistant.
- Strong English communication skills with a professional phone presence.
- Experience in medical administration and customer service.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and patient-focused.
- Experience with Primary Care or Wellness is a plus.
- Clinical experience is preferred.
- Experience with Elation and Weave is a plus.
- Sales or patient conversion experience is an advantage
Basic Requirements
- Must speak and write English clearly and professionally.
- Must have relevant work experience.
- Must be able to provide an NBI Clearance and/or Local Police Clearance before onboarding (mandatory).
- Must be available to attend video meetings with camera on when required.
Technical Requirements
- Computer: Reliable laptop or desktop computer.
- Internet: Stable high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps).
- Audio: Noise-canceling headset.
- Video: Working webcam for virtual meetings.
