Medical Billing Administrator

Salary: R29 000 – R32 000 per month

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Medical Billing Administrator for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa, owning claims processing and billing reconciliation.

Role overview

You will keep patient billing accurate and up to date, following up on claims and resolving billing queries.

Key responsibilities

• Process and submit medical billing claims accurately and on time
• Reconcile remittances against invoiced amounts
• Follow up on unpaid or rejected claims
• Maintain accurate patient billing records
• Liaise with insurers and practices to resolve billing queries
• Support month-end billing reporting

What you will need

• Experience with medical or insurance billing processes
• Experience with billing or practice management software
• Strong numerical accuracy
• Experience following up on outstanding invoices or claims
• Comfortable working UK business hours

Nice to have

• Experience with UK healthcare or insurance billing codes
• Familiarity with Xero or Sage
• Experience in a healthcare administration role
