Monitor international and European media sources to identify high-impact news relevant to EU institutions. Assess and escalate critical information to senior stakeholders in a clear, neutral, and timely manner.
As a Media Monitoring Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring selected media sources and digital channels, identifying breaking or high-impact news, and assessing its relevance for senior stakeholders. You will apply sound judgment to determine which information is critical and should be escalated, ensuring concise and accurate delivery to high-level audiences.
This position requires a strong sense of responsibility, discretion, and the ability to work consistently in a fast-paced, news-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor predefined international and European media sources, including digital and social media channels
- Identify, assess, and filter “hot” or high-impact news relevant to EU institutions and public affairs
- Select and forward the most relevant content to senior-level stakeholders in a clear and timely manner
- Ensure accuracy, neutrality, and consistency in information shared
- Stay continuously informed about international developments, EU policy areas, and geopolitical events
- Work in shifts, including weekends, to ensure continuous media coverage
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Strong interest in international public affairs; prior knowledge of the European Union is essential
- Highly dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Demonstrates strong commitment and reliability in meeting deadlines and shift requirements
- Willing and able to work during weekends as part of a structured schedule
- Curious and proactive in staying up to date with global and European developments
- Access to a stable, high-speed internet connection for remote work
