Position: Marketing Specialist: Campaigns Emphasis

MINISTRY POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing Specialist develops and executes integrated marketing campaigns from concept through completion, including audience journey design, automations, project management, creative coordination, and performance measurement in Hub Spot. Working collaboratively across departments and with external contractors, this role helps guide strategic communications across web, email, video, print, live and digital events, and other channels, while ensuring campaigns align with organizational goals and audience needs.
Priority Key Ministry Responsibilities
Inbound Marketing: Strategic conceptual direction, user journey design and automations, optimization, and project management for any general campaign from lead generation through key strategic outcomes for audience; including mobilizing staff and contractors for pertinent deliverables (I.e., web content strategy, landing pages, copy, creative assets including video and graphics, live and digital event applications, and inbound CRM setup), in collaboration with content team and internal program leaders. Time allocated to this responsibility is 65%
Reporting: Maintains accurate reporting dashboards on campaign results for internal stakeholders, identify areas for continuous improvement in execution and performance. Executes process improvements for both internal support and external audience. Time allocated to this responsibility is 15%
Integration: Collaborates with internal stakeholders and facilitates strategic cross-promotion of Colson Center products to promote specified user journey outcomes ministry-wide. Time allocated to this responsibility is 10%
Outcomes: Initiates interviews with TCC constituents and creates story-driven content derived from audience experiences for use in marketing and development campaigns. Time allocated to this responsibility is 10%

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Mission Focus, Education, Experience, Knowledge, Competencies
Mission Focus: Passionate pursuit of spreading Christian worldview through marketing of the Colson Center’s products and services.
Education: Bachelor’s
Experience: 5 years’ experience in inbound marketing; project management experience strongly preferred. Experience managing tasks and projects. Proven ability to hit goals and deadlines, balance those goals and deadlines with the need to maintain relationships and a close-knit team, and solve problems.
Knowledge areas: Digital marketing, segmentation, email marketing, content marketing, event marketing. SEO/AEO and lead gen experience preferred. Knowledge of the elements of inbound marketing and user journey automations (email, social, lead gen, websites, etc.) and can wield them intelligently in pursuit of defined goals.
Computer/Tech Skills: Comfortable with modern project management tools (Asana), digital marketing and CRM tools (HubSpot), including moderate experience with building web and landing pages within HubSpot. Basic graphic design skills preferred but not required.
Physical: talking, hearing, seeing, typing.
Travel requirements: 3-5 trips per year.
Position Classification: Full-Time Exempt
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000
