Slingshot is seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager to join our Commercial team in a full-time capacity. This is a high-impact role driving demand generation, events, and commercial enablement across our portfolio. You will own the execution engine of our marketing - agencies, campaigns, events, and sales tools - and serve as the connective tissue between the Commercial team and Operations, R&D, and Product Management.

As a key contributor to our go-to-market efforts, you will partner closely with Product Management, who owns messaging and brand, and Inside Sales, who you will equip to convert demand into pipeline. You will ensure that everything we ship is on-brand, compliant, and built to move revenue.

Location: This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage external agency relationships across digital marketing, web, and creative
  • Own campaign execution, brief development, and quality control of agency output
  • Drive digital demand generation and brand presence
  • Own end-to-end event logistics for conferences and trade shows (booth, collateral, swag, on-site coordination, lead capture)
  • Manage pre-show and post-show workflows, including lead processing and routing to sales
  • Partner closely with Inside Sales to build distributor collateral and sales enablement materials
  • Equip the channel with the tools, messaging, and assets needed to sell effectively
  • Support Inside Sales with the campaigns and content that turn leads into qualified pipeline
  • Track, measure, and report marketing ROI across campaigns, events, and channels
  • Build reporting that ties marketing activity to pipeline and revenue
  • Operationalize product and brand messaging into campaigns, collateral, and launch execution, in partnership with Product Management
  • Ensure all marketing output adheres to established brand standards and compliance requirements set by Product Management
  • Translate approved positioning into audience-ready collateral and demand programs
  • Coordinate with Operations and R&D on shared workflows and launch support
  • Keep priorities aligned across functions

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in marketing, ideally life sciences / biotech tools (flow cytometry, reagents, or reference standards a strong plus)
  • Strong execution track record across events, agencies, and campaign delivery
  • Comfort collaborating on technical/scientific messaging for specialized audiences
  • Experience managing agencies and external vendors
  • Attention to brand consistency and compliance in a regulated/technical environment
  • Data-driven approach to measuring marketing impact
  • Bias toward speed and shipping over perfection; thrives in ambiguity and high autonomy
  • Comfortable operating independently in a remote, distributed team environment
  • Ability to travel to trade shows, conferences, and occasional team gatherings
Our salary ranges are calculated by role and level. Your position within that range will be determined by your job-related knowledge, skills, experience, relevant education, and training/certifications. In addition to those factors, we also examine internal equity as well as consider current market rate, and title may be assessed one level lower or higher accordingly. After you join the company your performance, contributions, and results along with business and organizational needs will affect your base salary. The base salary range for this full-time position is between $129,000 - $163,000 + benefits.
