AI Summary

You will own the creation and delivery of marketing assets for independent medical practices while building scalable systems using AI and contractors. Additionally, you will manage ongoing marketing services and eventually develop a demand generation engine for the company.

Marketing Director

Bioscope Foundry | Remote (US) | Full-Time

About Bioscope Foundry

Bioscope Foundry is the operating layer that supports independent medical practices. Physicians leaving hospitals and health systems want to practice medicine on their own terms, but need foundational support to do so. Bioscope Foundry handles everything that isn't medicine: entity formation, bookkeeping, technology, and the marketing a new practice needs to open its doors.

The Opportunity

This is the first marketing hire at Bioscope Foundry, and the work is already waiting.

Every physician who works with us gets marketing support, including the foundational marketing assets a practice needs to open their doors. Think about assets like a logo, brand guidelines, a website, business cards, and an email signature. You'll own the creation and delivery of that material, designing the process, running it, and making each one feel like it came from a firm the physician is proud to be associated with. Beyond that, practices can hire the Foundry team to execute on their broader marketing efforts. Like a boutique agency, you’ll partner with clinicians to meet their ongoing marketing needs. That could mean executing on a social strategy, content creation, geo-targeted ads, local reviews, field events, et. You'll build that offering into something real.

The interesting constraint is how you do it. You won't have a team initially. You'll have contractors and AI, and the expectation that they touch most of the work. Your job is to design a system where a physician gets a beautiful, complete marketing package in days rather than months, and where the tenth one costs a fraction of the first. If you find yourself doing something manually twice, you'll be looking for the way to automate it the third time.

Eventually you'll also market Bioscope Foundry itself, creating demand from interested clinicians. We have a waiting list right now, so that isn't urgent, but it's yours when it is.

What You'll Do

  • Own the marketing kit. Define what's in it, build the pipeline that produces it, and ship it fast without it looking mass-produced.

  • Build the a-la-carte offering. Turn the extra services physicians want into something we can package, price, and deliver repeatedly.

  • Run an external bench. Source, brief, and manage designers, writers, and specialists. Getting excellent work out of contractors is a skill, and it's central to this job.

  • Automate aggressively. Use AI across production, content, web build, and process. The goal is leverage, not headcount.

  • Execute the tactics. Content, social, local SEO and reviews, geo-targeted paid, events. You'll be close enough to the work to know what's actually driving patients.

  • Think past your job description. You'll be one of the first people here. Notice the problems that aren't yours, and bring solutions.

  • Grow Foundry. When it's time, build the demand engine that fills the pipeline behind our waiting list.

What We Look For

  • 7-9 years in marketing, ideally agency or early-stage, with real production work behind you. You've shipped brands, sites, and campaigns, not just briefed them.

  • Genuine AI fluency. Not curiosity. Experience. You already use these tools to compress work that used to take a week, and you can show us.

  • Contractor management. You know how to write a brief that gets the right thing back the first time.

  • Range. Brand and design sense on one end, performance tactics on the other. This role needs both.

  • Systems thinking. You solve the problem, then you build the thing that solves it next time.

  • Client-facing polish. You'll work directly with physicians launching the biggest thing they've ever done. They need to trust you.

  • Comfort with ambiguity. Early company, undefined role, shifting priorities. You'd rather define the job than inherit it.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in healthcare marketing or with physician practices.

  • Agency or MSO background, especially delivering for many clients at once.

  • Local and small-business marketing: Google Business Profile, review generation, etc.

  • Comfort building sites in modern no-code and AI-assisted tools.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base and OTE.

  • Meaningful early-stage equity.

  • Direct access to the founders and real influence on the business.

  • Health, dental, and vision benefits.

  • 401K and HSA contribution matches.

  • Genuine autonomy, and the budget to build the system your way.
