Upland Software builds cloud-based solutions that help organizations operate more efficiently and make better decisions.

We’re seeking a proactive marketer who thrives in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment. As a Marketing Coordinator (Fixed-Term Contract), you’ll support integrated demand generation and go-to-market programs across email marketing, social media, webinars/events, and content operations, helping keep campaigns moving from idea to execution. Working closely with experienced marketing and sales partners, you’ll receive hands-on coaching, feedback, and exposure to how pipeline-focused marketing is planned, launched, optimized, and measured.

You’ll succeed in this role if you’re organized, eager to learn, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities at once. You’ll manage several concurrent projects, maintain clear timelines, and provide concise status updates on progress, risks, and next steps, helping the team stay aligned in a remote, cross-functional environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of go-to-market, demand generation, and nurture campaigns (email, web, paid, and social) by coordinating tasks, timelines, and approvals
  • Create and update marketing assets using existing templates (landing pages, emails, one-pagers, presentations) and ensure content is on-brand and error-free
  • Draft and proofread copy for core channels (email, social, web) with guidance from the marketing manager
  • Manage multiple concurrent marketing projects by maintaining timelines, intake details, and dependencies; communicate progress, risks, and next steps proactively
  • Coordinate webinar and virtual event logistics (speaker prep, invites, reminders, post-event follow-up)
  • Partner with sales and product stakeholders to gather inputs, incorporate feedback, and meet deadlines
  • Use AI-powered tools to improve efficiency across drafting, research, and basic reporting, applying good judgment and brand standards
  • Track and report on performance across multiple campaigns and channels (e.g., email, landing pages, webinars), sharing insights and recommendations to improve future execution

Requirements:

  • 0–2 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, digital marketing, or a related field (internships/co-ops welcome)
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with attention to detail
  • Comfortable learning new tools and following established processes and templates
  • Comfortable using AI tools to work more efficiently (e.g., drafting, summarizing, research) while using good judgment, protecting sensitive information, and staying on brand
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines; strong organizational and follow-through skills
  • Clear communicator who can write concise, on-brand copy and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Available to start by an agreed-upon date and able to commit through the end of the fixed term
  • Eligible to work in Canada

Desired Skills:

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related fieldOR equivalent practical experience
  • Experience supporting integrated campaigns, outbound programs, or events (including in a school, volunteer, or internship setting)
  • Familiarity with CRM/MAP tools such as Salesforce and Marketo (or similar)
  • Basic understanding of web and email metrics; experience with Google Analytics or reporting dashboards is a plus
  • Experience coordinating multiple workstreams and creating simple status reports (spreadsheets, dashboards, or project trackers) is an asset
  • Comfortable making simple design updates in Canva (or similar)
  • Interest in B2B SaaS marketing and learning how marketing contributes to pipeline and revenue
  • Please include 1–2 samples (e.g., an email, social post, one-pager, or landing page) that demonstrate clear writing and attention to detail
