Essential Functions:

  • Strategy & Planning:  Lead the creation and optimization  of multi-channel marketing strategies to drive engagement, revenue, or brand awareness.

  • Project Management:  Independently manage project timelines  and deliverables from concept to launch, often handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting:  Experience with digital  marketing platforms and metrics to track performance, analyze behavior, and provide actionable insights for optimization.

  • Content Management:  Oversee and update content across  various digital communication tools, ensuring adherence to style guides and communication standards.

  • Stakeholder Communication:  Act as a central point  of contact, communicating campaign objectives and results to stakeholders to facilitate data-driven decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications,  PR, or a related field.

  • Technical Skills:  Proficiency in  enterprise communication  systems and digital communication tools.

  • Experience:  Minimum of 3 years of relevant marketing experience  (agency or multi-functional environments preferred).

  • Communication:  Excellent written and verbal communication  skills with a strong attention to detail in editing and proofreading.

  • Mission Alignment:  A commitment to the organization's  mission, including affirmation of Young Life’s Statement of Faith.

  • Travel:  Minimal travel required for National and  Team meetings 

Job Specific Working Conditions:


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy and Consultation
    Serves as a thought partner for campaign directors across the mission of Young Life around the world in audience segmentation, offer creation and alignment, distribution strategies, reporting, and project management and coordination. Execute strategies developed in partnership with the Marketing Director and respective Vice Presidents of Development

  • Copywriting & Messaging:
    Write compelling, mission-aligned content for a variety of audiences and formats, including email, social, direct response appeals, donor reports, and landing pages. Create messaging to combat donor attrition and improve retention.

  • Creative Design:
    Develop on-brand visual assets using Canva (or other tools) for digital and print distribution. Collaborate with internal designers and writers when needed.

  • Email Marketing:
    Plan, write, design, and manage donor email journeys using platforms like Emma and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

  • Website Content:
    Oversee content and light design updates on key donor-facing webpages using platforms such as TimeSites or open CMS systems.

  • Project Management:
    Lead and execute projects independently, coordinating with development, creative, and field teams. Own timelines and deliverables from concept to launch.

  • Performance Reporting & Optimization:
    Leverage Salesforce reports, Google Analytics, Meta Ads reporting, and other digital platforms to track campaign performance. Analyze donor behavior and marketing impact to provide actionable insights and recommend strategic optimizations to improve ROI and donor retention.

  • Digital Advertising:
    Manage digital media buying and performance across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and media partnerships. Optimize campaigns for donor acquisition and retention.
     

Additional Qualifications

  • 5 years of relevant marketing experience (agency or multi-functional environment preferred)

  • Proven expertise in integrated marketing campaign strategy, execution, and performance analysis

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with a sales or fundraising team

  • Working knowledge of Canva, email tools (Emma, SFMC), CMS platforms, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Emma insights, Webconnex

  • Experience with reporting and analytics tools within Salesforce and digital platforms

  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Passion for ministry and alignment with the mission and values of a Christ-centered organization

  • Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, and faith-driven team

  • Excels at ideation and go-to-market execution
     

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with donor lifecycle marketing, faith-based nonprofit development, and global campaigns

  • Experience using Salesforce CRM or Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Understanding of A/B testing, analytics, and fundraising KPIs
