Global Pacific Support is partnering with clients to deliver strategic market insights that drive informed pricing and competitive positioning decisions. We are seeking an experienced Market Research Specialist to conduct local market pricing research and competitor analysis.

This is an independent contractor engagement ideal for a self-driven professional who can work autonomously, gather reliable data, and translate findings into clear business recommendations.

Scope of Work

• Conduct in-depth research within assigned geographic markets
• Identify direct and indirect competitors
• Collect and verify competitor pricing structures, service packages, promotions, and value propositions
• Analyze competitor strengths, weaknesses, and market positioning
• Assess customer demand trends and pricing expectations
• Develop a pricing comparison matrix
• Provide a structured competitor analysis (SWOT or equivalent framework)
• Deliver strategic recommendations on pricing and positioning
• Present findings in a professional written report and/or slide deck

Requirements

Qualifications

• Proven experience in market research, competitive intelligence, or business analysis

• Clear, professional written communication
• Ability to meet agreed deadlines without supervision
