Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Knowledge – Understanding eligibility of PACE funding as it relates to state/city requirements and PACE Equity underwriting criteria.
  • Pipeline Development – Maintain a robust pipeline of development, renovation, recapitalization, and construction financing opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, broker relationships, and industry engagement.
  • Relationship Development – Develop and maintain relationships with commercial mortgage brokers, developers, owners, lenders, and other industry partners to generate financing opportunities and expand PACE Equity's deal pipeline.
  • Discovery – PACE Equity has multiple complex capital solutions. Thorough discovery is critical to putting forth compelling proposals and overcoming objections.
  • Pitch – Position yourself as a trusted advisor, presenting financial solutions that meet or exceed the client's requirements. • Negotiate & Close – Working with PACE Equity staff and clients to overcome objections, negotiate funding terms, and close commitments.
  • Manage the Client – While PACE Equity provides a turnkey financing solution that includes project management, legal support, energy engineering, and transaction management, the Market Leader is responsible for attending meetings and managing client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Market Leadership & Origination – Utilize PACE Equity's differentiators and your industry relationships to become a trusted resource in your market while proactively originating transactions through local and national networks, industry conferences, trade associations, networking events, and regional CRE organizations to build brand awareness and market influence.


Requirements and skills

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate development, finance, lending, construction finance, or capital markets.
  • Proven track record of originating deals and building relationships with developers, owners, brokers, lenders, and investors.
  • Strong understanding of real estate finance, capital stacks, underwriting, and development projects.
  • Motivated to build a pipeline both locally and across broader markets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and business development skills.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working independently.
  • Passion for sustainability and innovative financing solutions.
