Overview

This is a remote role that will only be hired in the following location: California, Texas.

 

The Managing Director, Business Development - CIT Northbridge provides strategic oversight and direction to the CIT Northbridge team. Responsible for expert guidance and leadership of employees, strategies, governance, capital partners and compliance with regulators and policies consistent with the credit philosophy of CIT Northbridge. Monitors, evaluates and motivates team performance, implementing process improvements in a continuous effort to enhance credit quality, financial performance and employee and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Financial Performance - Individually contribute to achieving or exceeding financial goals established by member approved annual plan for CIT Northbridge.
  • New Business Generations - Individually source and close new business transactions consistent with CIT Northbridge credit philosophy, achieving or exceeding targeted goals of lending and treasury products.
  • Strategic Market Coverage - Responsible for overall strategic development and execution of business development plan which prioritizes key referral sources within the assigned coverage model. Create positive brand image for CIT Northbridge and First Citizens by responsiveness, professionalism, product knowledge and credit philosophy.
  • Collaboration Policy Resource - Approach team activities in a collaborative, positive, supportive manner and contributing toward the project goals. Remains abreast of all regulatory and policy guidelines. Maintains a relational network of peer financial institutions in order to share best practices and successes. Develops and maintains productive relationships with regulators.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in Relationship Management, Underwriting, Portfolio Management, Client Management, Business Development or Management OR High School Diploma or GED and 14 years of experience in Relationship Management, Underwriting, Portfolio Management, Client Management, Business Development or Management

 

Preferred Area of Experience:

 

  • 10 years of business development within non-bank Asset Based Lending within Middle Market
  • Portfolio & Asset Management, Syndications & Capital Markets, Commercial Finance, Commercial Banking

The base pay for this position is generally between $200,000.00 and $275,000.00 if based in California or Texas. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
