Position Summary

The Manager of Social Media Reporting & Ad Tech will be responsible for reporting and measurement enablement within the Social channel to empower the CVS Social Center of Excellence to drive business results.  An optimal candidate for this role loves working with data and new technology to deliver actionable insights.

We are building a world class Ad Technology team at CVS with the goal of making a significant impact on the media team’s already rapid growth.  We want to make sure we are both innovative and rigorous as we build out our business intelligence to lead Social Media data strategy, reporting and self-service dashboards initiatives.

As the Manager, Social Media Reporting & Ad Tech, you will play a critical role in Social Media data governance and standardization and will work with ad operations and delivery management teams to maintain data quality, establish reporting standards, and handle any required QA’s and troubleshooting of live campaigns.

The Manager, Social Media Reporting & Ad Tech also works closely with the Social Media and Marketing teams on key reporting functions around any dashboards, ad-hoc requests, and finding insights within large sets of data. You innovate and thrive in an analytical and creative environment where collaboration and new analytical development initiatives are leveraged in a data-driven approach to our product & service offerings.

The ideal candidate should have a deep knowledge in project management, ad operations, and data governance.  Experience within the digital marketing industry is a must.  Experience within retail advertising or a media agency is a plus.

This is a remote role that can be done from anywhere in the US with the expectation of EST working hours.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data Governance & Standardization:

  • Oversight of Data Engineering partners to ensure media data is correctly brought into the CVS eco-system via APIs and/or SFTPs
  • Manage a consistent data taxonomy for Social Media data and maintain data quality & reporting standards within social
  • Manage any QA’s and troubleshoot any live problems with data delivery
  • Familiarity with Adobe Site Analytics to create appends and manage ongoing taxonomy and any automated reporting delivery to outside teams

Social Media Dashboard Management:

  • Collect requirements on design and key KPIs of new Social Media Dashboards and work with Data Visualization teams to manage their build of a dashboard to those specs
  • Maintain ongoing datasets and weekly reporting that feeds into this dashboard, or other large-scale databases (Media Mix Models, for example)
  • Integrate owned and paid social data, where feasible, to understand holistic social performance
  • Be comfortable presenting and data or key trends to Marketing or Media stakeholders

Social Business Intelligence & Analysis:

  • Compare weekly social trends with historical performance to identify areas for improvement or highlight significant behavioral/marketplace changes
  • Leverage Adobe Site Analytics data to inform key insights across Paid and Owned Social
  • Deep-dive into key research areas at granular levels for analytical insights

Assist in Larger Measurement Conversations:

  • Assist on cross-functional media, ad technology, and analytics team in building of Measurement & Learning plan for key campaigns and assist in executing any necessary campaign testing constructs
  • Assist with yearly items like forecasting efforts, seasonal campaign reporting, etc.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in social media
  • Experience with Social Ads Manager accounts, (including Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, SnapChat, Reddit, YouTube) and other social platform tools
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, WebTrends, Localytics, or other site analytics tool
  • Experience with Microsoft Tools (Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly
  • High levels of self-motivation and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task across numerous projects with many moving pieces

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in relevant field
  • Understanding of the Social Media landscape with a focus on retail
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with working in or interpreting Tableau dashboards
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, business intelligence, or analysis/analytics is a plus
  • 2+ years of experience in either ad operations or data science
  • 2+ years of experience in organic social

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
