What is the opportunity?
The National Account Support Team specializes in assisting Royal Trust Relationship Manager teams by providing efficient, accurate and quality client service. Key client service elements include review and validation of estate and power of attorney (POA) asset summary and key supporting documentation and coaching. The Manager is an Officer and is accountable for the employee experience and act as a coach, mentor and primary point of escalation for any administration related issues related to asset summary population, preparation and finalization, as they arise for the Regional Administrator Support (RAS) team. This role plays a key part in risk management ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to through the review process and coaching . Quality assurance and attention to detail are paramount to success in this role. Teamwork, collaboration, developing inter-personal relationships and leadership are important skills for success.
The Manager, National Account Support is a head office role that supports regional estate and trust teams across the country, and therefore candidates do not need to be located in Toronto

What will you do?
Participate in the oversight and review of estate summaries of estate assets and liabilities
Act as a subject matter expert on practical matters related to the administration of estate, trust and protection mandate accounts
Support special projects and head office initiatives
Assist and mentor regional staff and support Regional Risk Directors with coaching and mentoring of regional staff on administration processes and best practices
Exercise due diligence in following enterprise and RBC Royal Trust policies and procedures
Leverage the use of technology to maximize efficiencies and ensure that all files are appropriately documented and consistent nationally
Proactively maintain timely written, verbal, and electronic communication with internal and external contacts
Identify, investigate, and resolve all escalations
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
University degree or equivalent
5-7 years of professional experience in Estate Administration
Knowledge in Common Law/ Civil Code relative to Estate, Trust and Agency business
Knowledge of financial services, securities industry including trading, collection, and settlement
Nice to Have
Certificate in Estate and Trust Administration (STEP CETA)
Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners Certification (STEP) and Trust and Estate Practitioner Designation (TEP)
Experience in coaching and developing a team an asset
Bilingual French and English

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.
Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is:
$67,000.00 - $110,000.00The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting. Pay ranges may differ based on location. If the posting lists multiple job locations, a recruiter can confirm availability of the role and the relevant pay rage for the additional locations listed.
