They will collaborate across internal teams to translate complex reimbursement data into actionable recommendations and educational resources for stakeholders.

Job Description Summary

The Senior Manager, Market Access & Reimbursement will help shape and execute U.S. reimbursement and market access strategies for icobrain, an innovative imaging solution designed to support clinical decision-making and improve patient care.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who understands the fundamentals of U.S. reimbursement and is excited to build, learn, and work across a broad range of responsibilities. The person in this position will support payer engagement, reimbursement strategy, coding and coverage initiatives, provider education, and cross-functional business needs.

The ideal candidate is not expected to have experience in every area on day one. We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in U.S. healthcare reimbursement, analytical thinking, curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly. This person will be comfortable moving between strategy and execution, navigating changing priorities, and helping establish processes in an evolving business environment.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Market Access and Reimbursement Strategy

  • Support the development and execution of U.S. market access and reimbursement strategies for icobrain.
  • Assess coding, coverage, payment, and reimbursement considerations that may affect customer and patient access.
  • Translate reimbursement and payer information into practical recommendations for internal business partners.
  • Help identify access barriers, evaluate possible solutions, and support implementation.
  • Monitor relevant CMS, Medicare Administrative Contractor, commercial payer, coding, and reimbursement policy developments.
  • Use data, research, and stakeholder insights to help prioritize market access activities.

Payer and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Support engagement with commercial and government payers, providers, medical societies, advocacy organizations, and other healthcare stakeholders.
  • Help develop payer-facing materials that clearly communicate icobrain’s clinical, economic, and patient value.
  • Partner with Clinical, Commercial, Evidence Generation, HEOR, Advocacy, and other teams to support payer and provider discussions.
  • Build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare for and participate in payer, provider, and customer conversations as appropriate.
  • Capture stakeholder feedback and translate it into recommendations and follow-up actions.

Reimbursement Education and Customer Support

  • Develop clear, practical reimbursement resources for internal teams, providers, and customers.
  • Provide guidance on reimbursement, coding, coverage, and payment questions.
  • Partner with the Commercial team to identify and address access barriers affecting customers.
  • Create presentations, guides, tools, and other educational resources that make complex reimbursement topics easier to understand.
  • Support training for internal teams on reimbursement pathways and market access considerations.

Coding, Coverage, and Policy Analysis

  • Research and interpret relevant ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, CMS, and payer-specific guidance.
  • Evaluate how coding and policy changes may affect icobrain, customers, and patients.
  • Support coding, coverage, and payment assessments in partnership with internal and external subject-matter experts.
  • Organize findings and communicate potential business implications to cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain awareness of the evolving U.S. payer and reimbursement landscape.

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Work across functions to move reimbursement and market access initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Manage multiple priorities and adjust quickly as business needs evolve.
  • Bring structure to ambiguous problems by gathering information, identifying options, and recommending next steps.
  • Take ownership of projects while seeking input from appropriate partners.
  • Contribute to the development of new processes, tools, and ways of working as the business grows.
  • Influence progress through collaboration and strong working relationships rather than direct reporting authority.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, health policy, life sciences, engineering, business, health economics, public health, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within U.S. healthcare, medical devices, diagnostics, digital health, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, health technology, or a related environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in U.S. reimbursement, market access, coding, coverage, payment, payer strategy, health policy, or a closely related area.
  • Working knowledge of the U.S. healthcare reimbursement environment, including coding, coverage, payment, and payer considerations.
  • Experience supporting or owning projects that required research, analysis, stakeholder coordination, and implementation.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly to different audiences.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, manage changing priorities, and operate effectively in an evolving environment.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in medical devices, medical imaging, diagnostics, digital health, healthcare software, artificial intelligence-enabled healthcare solutions, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting a new product, startup, emerging business, or growing business unit.
  • Experience interacting with U.S. commercial payers, Medicare, Medicaid, providers, or other healthcare stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, CMS guidance, or payer medical policies.
  • Experience developing reimbursement, payer, provider, or customer-facing materials.
  • Experience supporting payer value propositions, evidence strategies, health economics, or outcomes research.
  • Experience working with clinical, commercial, product, engineering, or evidence-generation teams.
  • CPC, CCS, or a related certification is helpful but not required.
  • Technical, scientific, engineering, or similarly analytical educational or professional experience.

What Success Looks Like

Within this role, success means:

  • Developing a strong understanding of icobrain, its customers, and the reimbursement environment affecting the product.
  • Building trusted relationships with internal partners and external stakeholders.
  • Turning complex reimbursement information into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Taking ownership of projects and following them through implementation.
  • Helping the organization identify and address coding, coverage, payment, and access barriers.
  • Adapting effectively as business priorities and market conditions evolve.
  • Creating practical tools, resources, and processes that support customer and patient access.
  • Growing into broader market access responsibilities as the business develops.

Ideal Candidate Profile

You may be a strong fit if you:

  • Have a solid foundation in U.S. reimbursement but are still motivated to broaden your expertise.
  • Enjoy solving problems that do not yet have a clearly defined answer.
  • Are comfortable doing the research, analysis, coordination, and execution needed to move a project forward.
  • Can shift between strategic thinking and detailed hands-on work.
  • Learn quickly and actively seek out the information and relationships needed to be successful.
  • Communicate confidently while remaining collaborative, curious, and open to different perspectives.
  • Enjoy building processes and capabilities in a growing or evolving organization.
  • Are motivated by improving patient access to innovative healthcare technology.
