Why This Role Matters
As Manager, Carrier Download, you'll lead the strategy and execution behind one of the most important operational efficiency initiatives across the enterprise: ensuring carrier policy, billing, and claims data flows accurately and consistently into our Agency Management System. Your work will directly support automation, data integrity, operational scalability, and informed business decisions across a growing organization.
This role serves as the enterprise subject matter expert for carrier download capabilities and adoption. You'll partner closely with operations, finance, technology, carriers, vendors, and agency stakeholders to improve connectivity, streamline workflows, and create scalable processes that support growth initiatives, acquisitions, and system migrations.

How You'll Make an Impact
- Develop and execute the enterprise carrier download strategy, driving adoption, optimization, and expansion across carriers, agencies, and business lines.
- Create and manage a multi-year roadmap aligned with operational efficiency objectives, acquisition integrations, AMS migrations, and growth initiatives.
- Improve data quality by overseeing validation, reconciliation, exception management, and quality assurance processes for downloaded policy, billing, and claims data.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, Technology, carriers, and vendors to ensure download configurations and related business processes are accurate, effective, and scalable.
- Build reporting, dashboards, and KPI frameworks that provide visibility into download performance, adoption, service delivery, and operational effectiveness.
- Identify automation opportunities that reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and increase operational scalability across the organization.

What You Bring
Day One:
- 7+ years of progressive experience in insurance operations, preferably within a Property & Casualty agency, brokerage, or insurance services environment.
- Deep understanding of Agency Management Systems, with Applied Epic experience strongly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of carrier download functionality, IVANS connectivity, direct carrier feeds, policy data structures, and insurance operational workflows.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving operations, technology, finance, carriers, vendors, and agency stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, project management, process improvement, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience developing KPIs, operational reporting, dashboards, governance structures, and performance measurement frameworks.
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to influence and drive alignment across teams without direct authority.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational consistency, data quality, and continuous improvement.
Valuable Additions:
- Experience managing third-party vendors, outsourced operations, or business process outsourcing partnerships.
- Experience supporting acquisition integrations, AMS migrations, or enterprise-scale operational transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of direct bill commission structures and related insurance accounting workflows.
- Experience implementing automation initiatives and operational efficiency programs.
- Demonstrated success establishing service level agreements, quality controls, and standardized operating procedures.
- Familiarity with carrier administration functions and enterprise data governance practices.
