As Frontiers continues to grow, we are expanding our ability to fund strategic global priorities that strengthen ministry efforts worldwide. To support this vision, we are seeking a highly relational and results-oriented fundraiser to serve as our Major Gifts Officer, Global Strategic Initiatives. The position was created to develop new philanthropic revenue streams that support key international priorities and long-term ministry growth.

Position Summary

The Major Gifts Officer, Global Strategic Initiatives, serves as the primary fundraiser for approved international ministry priorities across Frontiers. This individual will build relationships with major donors, foundations, and prospective funding partners while working closely with organizational leaders to connect donor interests with strategic opportunities that advance Frontiers' global mission.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced major gifts professional who enjoys both relationship-building and strategy. The successful candidate will play a key role in funding initiatives such as leadership development, training, technology infrastructure, new field development, security initiatives, research, innovation, and other global ministry priorities.

About the Role

• Cultivate, solicit, and steward major donor relationships.
• Build and manage a portfolio of qualified major gift donors and prospects.
• Identify and research prospective donors, foundations, and grantmaking organizations using prospect research tools and donor intelligence resources.
• Develop compelling funding proposals and donor presentations.
• Collaborate with ministry leaders to understand funding needs and communicate ministry impact.
• Secure significant philanthropic investments, including multi-year commitments.
• Coordinate donor engagement strategies with other Frontiers fundraising staff to ensure a unified donor experience.
• Travel nationally to meet with current and prospective donors.
• Maintain accurate donor records, cultivation plans, and reports within the organization's CRM platform.
• Help establish and grow a sustainable funding pipeline for Frontiers' global strategic initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Active and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Passion for the Great Commission and commitment to the mission of Frontiers.
• Five or more years of experience in major gifts fundraising, donor development, business development, relationship management, or a related field.
• Proven ability to build meaningful relationships and influence philanthropic investment decisions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience creating donor strategies, funding proposals, and stewardship plans.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Experience securing five- and six-figure gifts preferred.
