LMR Application Support & ROL Testing Engineer

About the role:

We are looking for a Systems Specialist to support and test our Radio Online (ROL) application. The role involves application support, integration and system testing, JavaScript scripting, and working in an Agile team. You will troubleshoot user issues, manage defects in Jira, maintain ROL system rules, and work with the team to improve the application.

 Key Responsibilities

• User Support: Provide timely technical support and facilitate application training sessions for users.

• Testing & QA: Conduct comprehensive integration and system testing in cloud environments.

• Agile Collaboration: Work within a mature, small-scale Agile team to refine the application and manage defects via Jira.

• Continuous Growth: Participate in advanced JavaScript training and specialized workshops focused on ROL testing techniques and CI/CD practices.

• System Development: Develop and maintain ROL system rules and models using JavaScript (variables, loops, functions).

​​​​Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or technical discipline and 3+ years of engineering, IT or technical experience OR 5+ years of engineering, IT or technical experience

• Great verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical steps simply and help users with patience and empathy.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge or experience with ASTRO 25, MOTOTRBO, MCC 7500E, and AXS Consoles.

• Experience in Radio Online (ROL), LMR, or public safety communication systems.
