What We Are Looking For: The Leasing Support Manager  will provide superior customer service to prospective residents of CONAM communities. This position will support multiple properties within a geographic region to facilitate leasing operations and is designed to work with the onsite property leasing team to convert prospects into tours. The Leasing Support Manager will perform all responsibilities within compliance with Equal Housing Opportunity laws.

Full-Time | Hourly at $26.00 -27.50 per hour 

*Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday.

This role is a REMOTE position for candidates to be considered they must be located in one of these states, no exceptions: CA, AZ, CO, NV, TX, FL, GA, WA, OR

Duties and responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Customer Service
    • Understand the housing needs of guests by establishing a hospitable and productive dialogue with guests.
    • Communicate through words and action that you are committed to helping guests resolve their housing problems; ensure to inquire about the guest’s needs and preferences.
    • Extend hospitality to guests on the telephone, by e-mail, and by using text services.
    • Introduce guests to the community’s features and benefits.
    • Explain the community’s criteria for approving rental applications.
    • Inquire about guests’ needs regarding when they need an apartment, for how long, household size, and whether they have pets.
    • Support prospects by scheduling appointments to tour, and provide driving directions, brochures, floor plans, video tours, etc.
    • Contact all guests who have visited the community to offer continuing leasing assistance.
    • Conduct all at the highest level of professionalism.
  2. Marketing
    • Engage prospects by using the following methods such as phone, email, and texting services (SMS).
    • Accurately record all prospect/guest contacts and interactions.
    • Understand all marketing messages sent to prospects/guests.
    • Read and understand all available information concerning guest visits and demand for apartments.
    • Be familiar with the inventory of apartments that are available for rent in the community.
    • Provide prospects with professional marketing collateral to promote the property they are interested in living at. If none is available, work directly with the CONAM marketing team to create marketing collateral that can be used when following up with prospects.
    • Work with the property teams to schedule appointments to tour, ensure the execution of the tour occurs, and follow up with the prospect to understand his/her touring experience if the prospect does not lease.
    • Promote other CONAM properties when the property that the prospect is interested in cannot accommodate the prospect’s housing needs.
    • Comply with CONAM’s professional appearance standards and dress code.
  3. Administrative
    • Document all interactions with prospects and the property leasing team using the dedicated platforms for follow-up purposes. Platforms include but are not limited to the CONAM Lead Tracking System, Email Blast Tool, Outlook, Teams, and the CONAM Property Management Software.
    • Comply with all Fair Housing Regulations and CONAM best practices when engaging with prospects and the property teams.
    • Required to understand availability at each property to which this position supports.
    • Required to track the role’s success, defined as converting prospects into tours.
  4. All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Associates degree or 2+ years of combined equivalent experience in property management, sales, and/or customer relations.
  • Previous experience leasing at multiple properties and multiple markets preferred.
  • Driven, polished professional who demonstrates superior follow-through, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for providing exceptional service.
  • Knowledge of commercial/residential property operations, Yardi, SharePoint and DocuSign, a plus.
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer relations and interpersonal communications
  • Analytical skills, problem-solving capability, and innovative thinking
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish priorities and work independently and effectively
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills

Working conditions

Work is performed remotely, occasionally at the property, and occasionally in an outside environment.
