About the Role

We’re looking for a highly detail-oriented Lease Compliance Analyst to serve as the final quality review for leases, renewals, rent increases, and other changes to lease terms.

This role ensures that lease documents and rental charges are accurate, comply with company policies, and meet all applicable legal and program requirements before they become final. You’ll work closely with our U.S. operations teams and provide clear, actionable feedback whenever issues are identified.

This is a compliance and quality assurance role supporting both market-rate and affordable housing communities.

Responsibilities

  • Review new leases, renewals, and rent increases for accuracy and compliance.

  • Verify lease terms, rental rates, fees, dates, concessions, and other lease details.

  • Review affordable housing requirements when applicable.

  • Identify discrepancies and communicate required corrections to leasing staff.

  • Document review findings and maintain clear audit records.

  • Recognize recurring issues and recommend process improvements.

  • Help maintain consistent lease standards across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

  • Strong written and spoken English.

  • Ability to interpret written policies and apply them consistently.

  • Comfortable learning new software and business processes.

  • Highly organized and able to manage a high volume of work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in compliance, auditing, accounting, or quality assurance.

  • Experience in residential property management or leasing.

  • Experience reviewing leases, contracts, or other legal documents.

  • Affordable housing compliance experience (LIHTC, HUD, HOME, Section 8, MFTE, etc.) is a strong plus.

  • Applies company policies accurately and consistently.

  • Delivers timely reviews while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

  • Helps reduce lease errors through thoughtful feedback and continuous improvement.
