Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and management of U.S. tax credits and incentives, including R&D tax credits
- Analyze client operations to calculate and document tax credit qualifications
- Research federal and state tax credits and incentives
- Review, organize, and validate client-provided data
- Prepare calculations, workpapers, and tax deliverables
- Manage multiple client projects and meet internal, client, and governmental deadlines
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and internal team members
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in tax accounting or public accounting
- Experience with tax return preparation and/or tax credits
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and U.S. tax laws and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret financial statements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience using tax research tools (CCH, BNA, Checkpoint, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
