The AI Enablement Office is building the next generation of AI-powered capabilities that transform how we serve our customers, patients, providers, and employees. We are looking for an IT Principal, Forward Deployed Engineering leader, who thrives at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and innovation.

In this role, you will partner directly with senior business leaders to uncover opportunities, solve complex challenges, and rapidly translate ideas into AI-enabled solutions that deliver measurable value. Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to identify strategic opportunities where AI and GenAI can improve outcomes, efficiency, and user experiences.
• Lead discovery efforts that define business problems, evaluate opportunities, and shape AI-enabled solution strategies.
• Translate complex business challenges into actionable product, technology, and delivery roadmaps.
• Accelerate innovation by developing proofs of concept, MVPs, and pilot solutions that demonstrate value and feasibility.
• Collaborate across architecture, engineering, data, governance, and platform teams to drive successful solution delivery.
• Create reusable AI capabilities, frameworks, and assets that enable broader adoption across the enterprise.
• Influence stakeholders and senior leadership through clear recommendations, business cases, and value-driven storytelling.
• Define success measures and track business, operational, and user outcomes throughout the lifecycle of an initiative.
• Support the transition of successful pilots into sustainable, scalable production solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on AI trends, emerging technologies, and innovation opportunities.

 

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technology, digital transformation, product development, consulting, solution delivery, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through implementation.
• Strong knowledge of AI, Generative AI, cloud platforms, data technologies, and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience partnering with senior business leaders to define objectives, influence decisions, and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, establish priorities, and drive execution in fast-paced environments.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Generative AI platforms, AI agents, large language models (LLMs), machine learning, or intelligent automation solutions.
• Background in consulting, product management, solution architecture, innovation, or emerging technology organizations.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale AI, automation, or digital transformation programs.
• Familiarity with healthcare, insurance, pharmacy, or other highly regulated industries.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 144,400 - 240,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus and long term incentive plan.
