What You'll Do:

As the IT and Business Systems Rep, you will handle the daily IT functions, ensuring consistent, compliant, and timely user-friendly service and program/application usage for the business to operate proficiently. You will also manage the internal business system flow to ensure regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and continuous process improvement within our processes.

Your Accountabilities in the Role:

  • Leads and manages the process evaluation flow, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing strategic improvements to enhance overall quality and efficiencies of our processes.
  • Manages and conducts audits on customer files in the Cloud Management System, ensuring data completeness, integrity, and readiness for audits.
  • Manages and audits customer and control documents, ensuring proper archiving, organization, and adherence to internal standards.
  • Monitors and updates the Organic Integrity Database (OID), ensuring accurate reflection of certified operations and facilitating efficient data management.
  • Coordinates user-profiles, access, and security for the various applications and devices to ensure accurate user capabilities.
  • Handles day-to-day IT system and support issues in person, over the phone, or via virtual meetings; continually trains and supports users to utilize enhanced system features that will help to support the business.
  • Provides in-house supplemental support to ensure efficient and consistent operations and usage.
  • Leads and manages initiatives on branding and media outreach, including OnMark webpages.
  • Collaborates with software developers and appropriate departments to provide effective communication of company needs and following up with testing and new system training for staff.

Position Requirements:

  • Education: Associate's degree in IT/Software, Hardware/Network and devices. Relevant education, training, or equivalent experience in information technology, computer systems, data analytics, or a related field would be beneficial.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience working with business information systems, reporting, databases, or technology projects required.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Office certifications would be a plus.
  • Functional Skills: Strong proficiency in the installation, configuration, maintenance, problem-solving, and service of various IT/database elements. Strong understanding of establishing, administering, and securing user-access and security within various programs. Strong prioritization, organization, and time management skills are also required. Ability to multi-task and get things done is crucial. Strong analytical, attention to details, and problem solving skills; ability to understand business needs and translate them into technology solutions; ability to coordinate projects and work effectively with internal teams and outside development resources.
  • Technology Skills: Advanced SQL, Visual Basic, Domain Administration, and Microsoft Office skills required; experience with Power BI, CRM systems, inspection tracking systems, reporting tools, and other business technology platforms preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical users; ability to work effectively with users, leadership, and external development vendors.
  • Leadership/ Behaviors: Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of technology issues and projects to deliver excellence; collaborative and approachable; demonstrates strong follow-through; able to work independently while knowing when to involve others; ability to handle confidential information; committed to generating and maintaining accurate data and delivering reliable technology solutions.

Other Important Information:

Pay/Salary: Based on proven expertise.

And, the compensation will grow as the business grows!

Reports To: CEO

Core Hours: 8 hours between the hours of 8:00 am – 6:00 pm

Typical Work Week: Monday through Friday; some weekend work on tight projects occasionally
