As the Investigator, Towing Services you will negotiate and settle towing and storage expenses incurred by our policyholders. You will utilize dispute resolution tactics, assist legal counsel with documentation and work with various stakeholders to support investigations.
Maintaining a proactive follow-up system to monitor trends, outline organizational impacts, and apply legislative changes.
Resolving towing and storage disputes, including recommending alternative actions to manage accounts.
Investigating excessive towing and storage expenses incurred by our policyholders, including collaborating with claims partners to provide loss reconstruction and environmental cause and origin reports.
Preparing defence files with legal representatives and attending meetings, conferences and trials as required.
Providing exceptional client service in accordance with our claims service and quality standards, with the view of enabling the organization to be the industry leader in client engagement.
You have two years of experience in auto insurance claims or a related field.
You have completed post-secondary education in insurance, risk management or a related discipline.
You have or are working towards the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.
You have basic knowledge of insurance, towing operations, provincial legislation and court proceedings.
Salary information
Expected Salary range : CAD $ $60,574.00 to $100,956.00 CAD
The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.
Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
