Interim Head of Marketing
Department: Commercial
Employment Type: Contract / Temp
Location: Global
Description
Ideal role for an experienced and ambitious B2B marketing leader interested in climate, agriculture and innovation.
As our Interim Head of Marketing, you will lead InPlanet’s marketing function during a period of maternity cover, maintaining momentum across our priority events, campaigns, content and demand-generation activities. This is a performance-driven role with a strong focus on lead generation, commercial pipeline contribution and delivery against clearly defined quarterly OKRs.
You will provide clear direction to our internal Marketing team and external partners while remaining closely involved in execution. You will work with our Commercial, Science and Leadership teams to strengthen InPlanet’s positioning, engage corporate buyers and communicate the value of our work across carbon removal and sustainable agriculture.
You will be comfortable acting as the most senior marketing professional in the room, making decisions independently and operating with autonomy in a fast-moving international environment.
This role will provide continuity and leadership across InPlanet’s marketing function during an important period of growth. You will deliver priority global events and campaigns, strengthen engagement with prospective buyers and partners, and help translate InPlanet’s scientific and agricultural work into credible and compelling communications.
You will support pipeline growth, develop the Marketing team and improve the systems and processes behind our work. Success means delivering against agreed performance goals, maintaining momentum and handing the function back in an even stronger and better-organised position.
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will work closely with members of the Commercial, Science and Leadership teams. You will lead and support our Marketing Associate and Designer and manage relationships with external agencies, event partners, media contacts and other service providers.
