Trilogy Federal is looking for an Integrated Master Scheduler to support a large Federal agency with focus on modernizing IT functions. The Integrated Master Scheduler will be responsible for working closely with technical experts, project leads and project managers in designing, developing, and managing the VA Program’s Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and various IMS and project schedule reports.  

The Integrated Master Scheduler will develop a comprehensive scheduling framework to intake manage 30 - 35 concurrent projects and lead the back end/front-end processes for creating, managing, monitoring, and ensuring the integrity and timeliness of multiple project schedules. He/she will regularly interact with all project stakeholders including the customer regarding weekly schedule status and schedule metrics. He/she will regularly coordinate with customer, contracts, Project Management Office, and Senior Management teams to set up and review proper inter-dependencies processes, trains and informs Senior Management and the scheduling team, and produces enterprise-level reports. The Integrated Master Scheduler will also be able to make conclusions in regards the best process control, risk management, assignment coordination, interaction with technical and management team, and activity duration.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for maintaining and updating a large VA program office's integrated master schedule, including routine schedule management, dependency tracking, risk identification, and coordination across all relevant program stakeholders. Also, responsible for coordinating multi‑project schedules across the VA program office into an IMS and ensuring every team’s timelines fit together smoothly so the whole program moves in sync. This includes working with project management staff, VA program office leaders, and current support for the individual project schedules to identify tasks from those schedules to incorporate into the aligned overall IMS. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Create and manage the integrated master schedule(s) that combines all sub‑projects, workstreams, and dependencies across the program. 
  • Ensure cross‑project alignment. 
  • Identify how different teams’ work impacts each other, making sure milestones, deadlines, and deliverables are coordinated. 
  • Analyze schedule performance; Run critical‑path analysis, track progress, forecast delays, and provide early warnings so leaders can make informed decisions. 
  • Facilitate communication; Work with designated Government staff (e.g., project managers, analysts, and PMO teams) to gather updates and resolve timeline conflicts. 
  • Apply industry scheduling standards & tools to ensure schedules follow organizational requirements and standards. 
  • Support risk management; Identify schedule risks, run “what‑if” scenarios, and help develop mitigation strategies. 
  • Provide reporting, insights, and recommendations. 
  • Create dashboards, summaries, and schedule health assessments for leadership. 
  • Maintain applicable governance processes. 
  • Enforce change‑control rules so updates to the IMS and project schedules are accurate, documented, and approved. 


Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 8 years of total experience with 5 years of hands-on MS-Project Experience.  
  • Proven work experience developing and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a variety of audiences. 
  • Demonstrates initiative and strong attention to detail. 
  • Self-starter able to work independently and within a team. 
  • Flexibility and the ability to react to rapidly changing requirements. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently. 
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint. 
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. 


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience creating macros for MS Project. 
  • Experience working in a large healthcare organization such as a hospital, health system, or health insurance company. 
  • Certified PMI PMP or scheduling credentials.   
  • VA or Federal experience.

$105,000 - $115,000 a year
This range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as Trilogy Federal conducts an individual equity review for every candidate based on experience, location, education, industry experience, and comparisons to internal pay bands.
