Supervises Billing Analysts to ensure accurate and timely billing processes and financial compliance. Manages the full range of supervisory activities including training, evaluations, and cost reconciliation for contracts.
OverviewThe Integrated Billing Supervisor will report directly to the Integrated Billing Manager and will work closely with various departments to ensure accurate and timely billing processes. This role involves reviewing and approving invoices, reconciling costs, maintaining accounting records, and supporting both internal and external audits. The position requires flexibility with working hours, including mandatory overtime during peak periods, weekends, and late hours until the implementation of new software and/or processes is completed.
Responsibilities- Supervises Billing Analyst employees, providing daily support and guidance. Coordinates daily workflow to ensure timely and accurate Billing. Ensures department performance goals are met.
- Responsible for the full range of supervisory activities for department including selection, training, evaluations, vacation schedules and counseling.
- Ensures that all Billing for the program are thoroughly and timely prepared and reviewed and that all reports are in compliance with appropriate financial standards and company requirements
- Interfaces with internal and external auditors.
- Perform Book Cost to Billed Cost reconciliations for each contract.
- Coordinate with personnel from various departments to ensure complete and accurate documentation for billing and subsequent collection.
- Monitor and research costs, and request journal entries to ensure costs are accumulated correctly.
- Communicate with customers and personnel from various sites to gain and process accurate billing information.
- Maintain strong order to cash responsibilities across multiple departments within the organization
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and Company Proprietary data.
- Participate in other projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Certifications:
- Experience:
- 7 years of experience in GL accounting and Government Contract accounting preferred.
- IFS, SAP, and Excel experience preferred.
