The Insurance and Billing Coordinator will verify insurance eligibility, manage authorizations, and ensure accurate billing processes within the electronic health record system. They will also collaborate with clinical teams and insurance carriers to resolve claim issues and maintain HIPAA compliance.
Ready Set Connect is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Insurance & Billing Coordinator to join our growing team. In this fully remote role, you'll help ensure our clients receive uninterrupted ABA services by supporting insurance authorizations, billing processes, and admissions.

What You'll Do
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for new and existing clients.
- Prepare, submit, and monitor insurance authorizations and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate insurance and authorization information within our electronic health record (EHR).
- Support billing by ensuring authorizations align with scheduled services.
- Communicate with insurance carriers regarding authorizations, benefits, and payer requirements.
- Research claim issues and assist with billing documentation and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate records while ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
- Partner with the Insurance & Billing Manager and clinical teams to support timely services for our clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- One or more years of experience in medical billing, insurance verification, revenue cycle, or healthcare administration.
- Experience working with commercial insurance and/or Medicaid preferred.
- Experience in ABA, behavioral health, or pediatric healthcare is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with EHR systems, preferably RethinkBH, is a plus.
