Responsibilities

The Scheduling Specialist II is responsible for warm accurate scheduling and financially related data collection prior to a patient arriving at the facility. Maintains a thorough knowledge of scheduling imaging modalities and preps and insurance requirements to facilitate precertification, referral and authorization. Acts as a resource in department and offices; sometimes preparing “help fact sheets” or training.


Requirements

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Education and Work Experience:
    • Must possess a high school diploma or GED
    • 2 years in health care registration setting preferred

USD $21.98/Hr.

Max

USD $36.27/Hr.
