Job Title: Associate Customer Business Manager - Kroger

Location: Remote

Reports to: Ice Cream US Associate Director Kroger

THE ROLE:
This position will support the Customer Business Manager and Team Lead on the Kroger Ice Cream Business. This position will directly interact with the Kroger Category and Associate Category Managers.

The purpose is to deliver sustainable and competitive growth by developing and optimizing assortment, driving return on investment as it relates to promotional and demand creation while partnering with supply chain to deliver on time and in full.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Build and Execute Joint Business Plans with Kroger
• Own the Associate Category Manager relationship inclusive of promo execution and contract submissions
• Oversee Evergreen planning while managing trade investment efficiently
• Lead the KOMPASS Reset / New Item Submission Process
• Drive trade investment effectiveness and efficiency via NRM; partner with shopper marketing to do the same
• Drive insights to action, delivering key insights to business partners, while leveraging data to optimize how we go to market with Kroger.
• Utilize strong analytical skills to provide in depth MICC and competitive promotional analysis
• Ensure all deductions and post audits are completed in an effective and timely manner
• Oversee a Sales Analyst including their daily responsibilities and career development

IDEAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2-5+ years experience in CPG or Retail Industry
  • A self starter, who takes ownership of their business
  • Analytical expertise, ability to see trends and develop recommendations from data (i.e., Circana, Nielsen, Numerator)
  • Microsoft Office: Excel & Power Point proficiency required
  • Skilled written and verbal communicator
  • Strong attention to detail to manage numerous processes, spreadsheets and forms
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and complex situations with many different data sources while crafting the story
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence others

Pay: The pay range for this position is $88,600 to $133,000. The Magnum Ice Cream Company (TMICC) takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. 

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
