Job Summary
The HR Assistant will directly report to HR Manager. The HR Assistant is responsible for supporting the I9 process for MGB Residents, MGPO Physicians and Fellows, BWH Fellows and Researchers, and BWPO Physicians. This position is a remote position but may occasionally need to work on site to meet in person with hires.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the I9 completion: Manage I9 scheduling through bookings link
- Collect I9 documents via email
- Meet with new hires to verify I9 documents virtually (in person if needed)
- Follow up with new hires that need to reschedule or schedule appointments
- Complete Section 2 of I-9 form and upload documentation
- Process E-verify
- Work closely with HR Reps with non-confirmation cases
- Track all new hires and I9 status Responsible for timely completion according to I9 deadline timeframe, Beeline extended worker support.
- Other HR onboarding support and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of related experience in a business or customer service setting, preferably in a Human Resources department.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with physicians, managers and employees
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be willing to work as a team player in a very busy environment
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload to get work done in most effective manner
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time
- Must have a high level of integrity/trustworthiness – will be privy to a variety of confidential information, both verbal and written

- On remote workdays, employees must use a stable, secure, and compliant workstation in a quiet environment. Teams video is required and must be accessed using MGB-provided equipment.
