The HR Advisor provides practical support and guidance to employees and managers regarding employee relations, talent management, and HR operations. They are responsible for maintaining accurate HR data, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, and supporting various HR initiatives including recruitment and change management.

We are looking for an HR Advisor to provide practical HR support and guidance to employees and managers. The role will support employee relations, talent management, HR operations, change initiatives, and HR reporting while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
Your Duties:
Act as a point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and managers.
Support employee relations matters, including conflicts, concerns, grievances, performance, and absence management.
Provide guidance and coaching to managers on HR policies, procedures, and people management practices.
Support recruitment activities, including candidate screening, interviews, and coordination with hiring managers.
Assist with training, learning and development, succession planning, and performance management initiatives.
Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
Support onboarding and offboarding processes and other day-to-day HR administration.
Assist with compensation reviews, employee surveys, talent reviews, and engagement initiatives.
Gather and analyse HR data such as turnover, absenteeism, and employee engagement.
Prepare HR reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
Support change management initiatives through communication, stakeholder engagement, data management, and progress tracking.
Maintain awareness of employment law and support the development and improvement of HR policies and procedures.
Use AI and digital HR tools to improve HR processes, efficiency, and employee experience.
Ensure responsible use of AI and compliance with data privacy and governance requirements.
Build effective relationships with employees, managers, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and ways of working.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in an HR Advisor, HR Generalist, or similar HR role.
Experience providing HR advice, support, and guidance to managers and employees.
Good knowledge of employment law, HR policies, best practices, and compliance.
Experience supporting employee relations, performance, and absence management.
Experience with recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
Experience working with HRIS and/or payroll systems.
Experience preparing and reporting on HR metrics and trends.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities.
Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working in situations of ambiguity.
Awareness of AI tools and their application in HR is desirable.
