Job Description:
Responsible for Design, develop, and maintaining automated test frameworks, scripts, and test cases for various software applications and systems.
Collaborate with software developers to understand functional and non-functional requirements, identify testable scenarios, and create comprehensive test plans.
Execute automated tests suites across different environments, including but not limited to, development, staging, and production.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using HP UFT for SAP and enterprise applications.
Build and execute Java Selenium test frameworks for web applications, ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
Develop and maintain API automation scripts (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to define test requirements and ensure coverage.
Document test results, analyze defects, and provide detailed reports.
Support manual testing efforts when required and contribute to overall QA strategy.
Required Skills:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in test automation using HP UFT (VBScript proficiency).
Strong hands-on expertise in Java Selenium WebDriver and automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Maven).
Solid experience in API automation (REST/SOAP) with tools/frameworks like RestAssured, Postman, or SOAP UI.
Knowledge of SAP application testing (SAP GUI, SAP Fiori).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and version control (Git/SVN).
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, smoke, sanity).
Experience with test management tools (ALM, Jira, TestRail).
