You will lead the field marketing team to drive pipeline growth through events, ABM, and executive programs while establishing clear KPIs and attribution models. You will collaborate closely with sales leadership to align marketing efforts with territory goals and optimize program spend based on data-driven insights.

About Ent

Ent is the intent-aware workspace security platform for securing human and AI-driven work. Built to protect productivity, the new attack surface, Ent understands not just what users and agents do but why, and intervenes at the moment of risk before incidents occur. Where existing tools see events, Ent sees intent, so security teams can step in at the moment of risk instead of investigating days later. Founded by Lou Manousos and Brandon Dixon, co-founders of RiskIQ (acquired by Microsoft) and the team behind Microsoft Security Copilot, Ent is in production with Global 2000 customers across hospitality, financial services, and defense, and backed by Decibel, Sequoia, Crosspoint Capital, Craft Ventures, Shield Capital, Felicis, and In-Q-Tel. We’re now hiring the team that will define this category.

How We Work

Customer first. The product and the business are built around problems we’ve watched real security teams struggle with — not the other way around. Every roadmap conversation starts with what a CISO told us last week.

Humble. No drama. We hire people who share the mission and trust each other to deliver. Teamwork over showmanship. Accountability over politics. The work speaks louder than the person doing it.

Urgency. The window to build a durable security company in the AI era is open right now and it will not stay open. The shot clock has started. We move at the speed of the people we want to protect.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Head of Field Marketing to lead the team that puts Ent in front of security buyers — and to make that work measurable. You’ll inherit a growing calendar of events, executive programs, and account-based campaigns, and build it into a function that Sales, Revenue Operations, and Demand Generation plan around. This role exists because our pipeline has outgrown the scrappy motion that got us here: we need someone who sets the operating rhythm and owns the number. We’re looking for a leader who has done this in security or enterprise infrastructure and knows the difference between a busy calendar and a pipeline that compounds.

What You’ll Achieve

  • You’ll own a field pipeline number and build the program mix — events, ABM, executive engagement, webinars, partner co-marketing that hits it quarter after quarter.

  • You’ll stand up the operating model that makes the work legible: clear KPIs, dashboards, attribution, and business reviews that give leadership a straight answer on what’s working.

  • You’ll build territory plans alongside regional sales leaders and account directors — mapped to whitespace, account penetration, and opportunity acceleration so marketing shows up where the revenue is.

  • You’ll design our presence at the moments that matter to security buyers: the major industry conferences, regional roadshows, and the small executive gatherings where trust gets built.

  • You’ll turn partner and alliance relationships into sourced and influenced pipeline, working from shared goals and a shared calendar with the partner team rather than around it.

  • You’ll create real accountability for the spend — retire what doesn’t convert, reinvest in what does, and make prioritization a data decision rather than a debate.

What You’ll Bring

Must-haves

  • You’ve led field marketing for a company selling into the enterprise space and you’ve carried a pipeline number you were measured against.

  • You’ve marketed to security buyers — CISOs, SOC teams, security architects — or to a comparably technical enterprise audience, and you can hold a credible conversation about what they care about.

  • You’ve run partner and channel co-marketing with shared pipeline goals alongside a direct sales motion.

  • You’ve built the measurement layer yourself: KPIs, attribution, dashboards, and the post-program analysis that tells you whether to run it again.

  • You’ve managed and developed a field team, including hiring onto it.

  • You work shoulder to shoulder with sales, and you’ve influenced executive stakeholders well enough to change where a territory’s investment goes.

  • You’re fluent in CRM and marketing automation platforms and comfortable getting into the data yourself.

Bonus

  • You’ve built or scaled field marketing at a startup that grew past its first sales motion.

  • You’ve supported regions outside the US and know what changes when you do.

  • You know the cybersecurity conference circuit well enough to have strong opinions about what’s worth the money.

  • You’re genuinely excited about applying AI to marketing workflows.

Our Benefits

  • Distributed workplace. While we have positions we hire for in our SF office, we also hire remotely across North America.

  • Own a piece of the journey. Every teammate gets meaningful equity on top of their salary.

  • We’ve got you covered. 90% of your medical, dental, and vision is paid by Ent. We also cover 75% for your dependents.

  • Take the time you need. Our flexible PTO lets you recharge, travel, or just take a breather.

  • Family matters. 12 weeks of fully paid maternity leave (birth, adoption, or foster) and 8 weeks fully paid paternity leave.

  • Live well. A $100 monthly lifestyle account to spend on what keeps you healthy and happy — fitness, wellness, learning, and more.

  • Set up your space. A $500 home office stipend when you join as a remote employee.

Diversity & Accommodations

We’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace where people of all backgrounds, identities, experiences, and abilities are welcomed, valued, and supported. We recognize there is no single path to success and value nontraditional career journeys and diverse perspectives as key to building stronger, more innovative teams.

We strive to ensure an inclusive experience at every stage of hiring and are happy to provide reasonable accommodations. If you require accommodations or accessible formats at any point during our process, please let your recruiter know. As an equal opportunity employer, our hiring process is designed to put you at ease and help you do your best work. If there’s anything we can do to improve your experience, we’re always open to feedback.
